Roxbury’s O-FISH-ALL Trout Day!

Saturday, May 25

Gather your friends and family for some splashy fun as Roxbury celebrates all things “Trout” on May 25. With fish kites flying, Roxbury will participate in the second annual Catskills Trout Tales, a celebration of the Catskill Mountains as the birthplace of American fly fishing. Roxbury will be hosting fun-filled family events throughout the town.

Trout Derby
Kids from 3 to 15 will be able to participate in a Trout Derby in Kirkside Park at the Barns in Kirkside from 9:30 to 12:00, and a weigh-in after each catch. Prizes for largest fish and biggest haul will be awarded. Bring your own poles. The Roxbury Volunteer Fire Department will be cooking up a Fish Lunch for participants of the Derby at 12:00 at the Pavilion in Kirkside Park.
